Ascend Bro Hikes Mobile Terms of Service

These terms govern the optional Ascend Bro Hikes text messaging program operated by Ascend Brotherhood Hikes LLC, doing business as Ascend Bro Hikes (ABH).

Program and consent

Depending on the choices you make when signing up, messages may include hike announcements, community and membership updates, offers, and RSVP or event logistics. A separate event-update choice, if offered, covers the operational messages described at signup and does not enroll you in promotional texts.

By taking the opt-in action described on our signup form, you agree to receive the stated categories of messages at the mobile number you provide, including recurring messages sent using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchasing, becoming a member, or reserving a hike. You can choose email where offered without subscribing to texts.

Frequency and charges

Message frequency varies with the program you select and your event activity. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile carrier's plan. ABH does not charge a separate subscription fee for these texts. Contact your carrier with questions about your mobile plan.

Opting out and getting help

To cancel, reply STOP to an ABH text. You may receive a final confirmation of your opt-out. After opting out, we will not send further program messages unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for assistance or email hello@ascendbrohikes.com. If you change or give up your mobile number, update your information or unsubscribe first.

Delivery

Delivery depends on mobile networks and device availability and may be delayed or fail. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on this program for emergency assistance or as the sole source of time-sensitive event information. Check your RSVP confirmation and event page for current details.

Privacy and mobile information

We process your mobile number, messaging preferences, consent records, delivery information, replies, and opt-out requests to operate the program and honor your choices. Providing a phone number for an RSVP, purchase, waiver, or emergency contact does not itself enroll you in text marketing. Email and text permissions are separate.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile information, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent status with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Other data-sharing provisions do not extend to sharing SMS opt-in data or consent for those purposes. We may provide this information to Klaviyo, telecommunications carriers, and service providers only as needed to operate and support the messaging program, honor your choices, and meet applicable legal obligations. These providers may not use your SMS opt-in information for their own marketing.
